  1. Hi Joan!

I’ve been trying to buy your yarn but every week I’m too late! You must have small batches and a very loyal following! I decided to try my hand at a pair of socks (big person ones, not the tiny ones we made in the class at Sunnyside Yarns in Rogersville) and thought it would be fun to use your yarn. Are you really totally sold out of everything every week, or do you maybe have something laying around the studio you could part with? Even seconds would be fine by me, since I’m just learning and expect to make mistakes that might not show off your yarn to it’s prettiest 😉

Let me know… and I’ll see you (hopefully) at the next Yarning at the Library. Deb Burger and I had to miss last month. We were up in Abingdon at the yarn store there and were both too tired to go back out again after we got back and ate dinner.

Hope you had a nice Easter!

    • Hey Cari!

Great to hear from you! Glad to hear you are keeping up with your sock knitting…I had SUCH a good time that day in Rogersville. That kind of free day is a rare treat for me at this point with kids.

I wasn’t at the Yarning either last month. Hopefully this next one in April.

Self striping is very labor intensive, so there is only about 30 balls a week (excluding the supplying of a few retailers). I do have some inventory, mostly Spring colors at this time of year. I do everything from super brights to neutrals. What’s your pleasure? We’ll figure something out.

      Cheers!

      Joan

  2. I missed out on the 7pm rush again. Dang, you are popular. Any chance i could special order 2 balls of lavender fields the next time you get ready to dye it? Thank you. Mary Shue

    • I Mary!

Thanks for your request! I have one left that is yours if you want it. If you’d rather wait for the next dye lot I can put you on the list. It might be a couple of weeks. I didn’t anticipate the demand for Lavender Fields!

      Thanks!

      Joan
